radio silence

February 20, 2011 § Leave a comment

Traffic remains steady over here, despite the fact that I haven’t posted in ages.  In case anyone’s interested in visiting me at my new home, I’ve been posting at the TWC’s Symposium Blog, where I’m working with others to create a bridge between fannish meta and academic fan studies, particularly the kinds of arguments that get published in the OTW’s academic journal.

My posts over there so far:

Introduction Post
The Social Network Fandom: RPS of Professional RPF?
Accent Memes, Brit-picking, and Other Perpetually Fascinating Phenomena of Internet Linguistics

I really like the SympBlog, and I hope you’ll get a chance to check it out! I’ll still try to write the occasional book review or teaching post over here when I’m so inspired.
